Mankato United Soccer Club (MUSC) is an educational, non-profit organization formed to promote, foster, and perpetuate the game of soccer for players under 20 years of age in the greater Mankato/North Mankato area and beyond. One of the challenges MUSC was facing was moving their player evaluation and team management process from paper to a digital solution. B507’s creative solution was a web-based tool that allowed coaches to easily document and track player skill evaluation and manage their teams. The design of the platform needed to be appealing, yet functional, and responsive for use on a desktop at home and also for use with a mobile or tablet device on the field.

The player evaluation tool is the highlight of the project, providing both basic and advanced evaluations of the player, coaches can make detailed evaluations of their players. The platform also gives the player’s guardian a portal to view overall evaluation scores of their players as well as notifies coaches of any absences of events that their players will not be able to attend.
