The Good Thunder Reading Series began as Minnesota State University, Mankato’s contribution to a set of informal exchanges between faculty writer at several state universities in Minnesota. Since 1983, the series has committed itself to programs that balance emerging an established talent drawn from Minnesota, the Upper Midwest, and the rest of the nation.  

B507 had the opportunity to provide Good Thunder Reading Series with an informational resource for visitors, portray the personality of the organization, invite members of all ages, promote the organization, and helped represent their new branding identity. The Design team also got to express their styles by creating the covers. They used a variety of techniques. They included collage, geometric and abstract forms, and even the implementation of traditional media.
